Plan Your Summer Now!
The summer schedule of Domodedovo International Airport includes unique flights to Africa, the Middle East, as well as popular resorts that will allow travellers to diversify their vacation destinations. Airlines switched to the summer schedule on March 29.
Starting from June 23, the frequency of Ethiopian Airlines flights to Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia) will increase: There will be six of them (flight ET761, departure at 21:30 Moscow time). Flights are operated by Boeing-787 (Dreamliner) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The advantage of traveling to this country for Russian tourists is that a visa to Ethiopia can be obtained online and upon arrival. Popular transfer destinations from Addis Ababa for Russian citizens include: South Africa - a country with beautiful nature and interesting culinary routes; Tanzania which attracts travellers with Mount Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti Park, and sunny Zanzibar; and the Seychelles - an ideal destination for beach vacations and diving.
Another destination is Amman, the capital of Jordan, which is considered one of the safest capitals in the Middle East. Tourists are attracted by the preserved monuments of Ancient Rome — the Citadel with the temple of Hercules and the large Roman amphitheater. In addition, Amman serves as a convenient starting point for trips to the legendary attractions of Petra and the Dead Sea. Starting from December 13, 2025, visa-free entry is valid for Russian citizens: tourists will be able to stay in the country for up to 30 days per trip. Royal Jordanian Airlines flights to Amman from Domodedovo are operated three times a week. Flights are operated by Airbus A-320 neo.
Daily EgyptAir flights to Cairo (Egypt) on a Boeing 737 will provide an opportunity to visit the Great Egyptian Museum. From Domodedovo, you can also go to Sharm el-Sheikh, a popular resort on the Sinai Peninsula. Flights here are operated by several carriers: Ural Airlines, NordStar and EgyptAir. Ural Airlines will start flying to Hurghada, known for its beaches and well-developed family infrastructure, in the summer schedule.
Fans of modern megacities and business trips will be interested in Emirates flights to Dubai, which are operated on Airbus A-380, as well as on Boeing-777.
Starting in April, S7 Airlines will begin daily flights to Istanbul, the cultural capital of Turkey, as well as Antalya, which is popular with Russian tourists. Flights to both destinations are operated by Airbus A-320. Note that a visa is not required to visit Turkey.
In addition, the summer schedule includes flights to Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi from Air Arabia, as well as to Kuwait with Jazeera Airways.
