Moscow Domodedovo invited passengers to enjoy the SYR PIR MIR cheese festival

6 August, 2019. Domodedovo, Moscow region. Moscow Domodedovo Airport hosted an event to promote the SYR PIR MIR cheese fest. During the occasion, passengers and air hub’s guests were invited to attend a gastronomic festival in Podmoskovye.
In the terminal building next to Our Podmoskovye tourist information center, Russian Parmesan project founder Oleg Sirota offered passengers to taste different varieties of cheese produced on his farm. Visitors learned about the delicacy's history and got a look at the upcoming fest’s program.
The SYR PIR MIR cheese festival will take place in Dubrovskoe village (Istra city) from Friday 9 August till Sunday 11 August. For those who would miss the coming gastronomic event, Moscow Domodedovo airport offers a range of cheese destinations. Ural Airlines flies to Bordeaux and Montpellier, S7 Airlines serves the route between Moscow Domodedovo (DME) and Nice (NCE), and Aigle Azur operates flights to Paris and Marseille, where air travelers can taste famous French Roquefort, Camembert, and Brie. Passengers willing to try Swiss cheese (Emmental) can take a flight with SWISS to Geneva or Zurich.
