DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT INSTALLS NEW CHARGING STATIONS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN ITS CAR PARKS
New charging stations for electric vehicles have been put into operation in open car parks of Moscow Domodedovo Airport - P1 and P3. These are slow EV chargers (using AC power) installed by the airport’s partner – ‘Tesla Center Energy’.
Each of the charging stations is equipped with two 11 kW sockets for charging two electric vehicles at the same time. The stations are equipped with connectors of the European Type 2 standard. Payments are made through the ‘it.Charge’ app, which makes it easy to find chargers on the city map.
Importantly, Domodedovo became the first Russian airport to place an electric vehicle charging station on its territory. Fast charging is available on the ground floor of the P2 covered car park. The 60 kW/h station is equipped with CS2, GB/T and CHAdeMO connectors and is capable of charging two cars concurrently.
