SRI LANKA EMERGES AS A NEW DESTINATION FROM DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT
‘Red Wings’ airline has commenced operation of direct flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Sri Lanka, Mattala International Airport (Hambantota Province) located on the southern coast of the island. Flights as part of packaged tours are performed in partnership with ‘Fun&Sun’ travel operator twice a week.
Flights are serviced by wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft. The use of this long-haul passenger liner enables the airline to operate flights to Sri Lanka without a refueling stop, which shortens the flying time and enhances comfort on board. The estimated time en-route is 8 hours 30 minutes.
A reminder for holidaymakers: this autumn/winter season features direct flights from Domodedovo to resorts in Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Morocco; flights with a convenient connection in Sharjah can take you as far as the Maldives.
