Domodedovo Airport and civil aviation enterprise ‘Severstal’ have celebrated the anniversary of cooperation
18 years have passed since Moscow Domodedovo Airport and ‘Severstal’ started cooperating.
‘Severtal’ is a unique company in the Russian air transportation market. Founded by Severstal Metallurgical Company, not only does the airline perform passenger flights, but also operates Cherepovets Airport. The airline's fleet consists of Sukhoi Superjet 100 and CRJ-200 aircraft types. The carrier's aircraft are named after great Soviet pilots.
“We are delighted to have a long-term partnership with the airline. ‘Severstal’ operates routes to Cherepovets and Petrozavodsk," says Irina Ryabinina, Deputy Director of the Airport. “We are confident that our cooperation will keep on developing in a positive way.”
In the new spring/summer season, ‘Severstal’ will increase the frequency of its Cherepovets and Petrozavodsk flights to 5 times a week starting from 31st March, with daily flights planned starting from 1st June. The time en-route to the largest airport in the Vologda Region is 1 hour, and to the capital of Karelia - 1 hour and 25 minutes.
