Moscow Domodedovo Airport and National Geographic Traveler launched the Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom exhibition

13 June, 2019. Domodedovo, Moscow region.The Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom exhibit will be displayed until July 18 at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Passengers can look at the photographs representing antiquities and excavations. The grand opening ceremony took place on June 13. National Geographic Traveler Chief Editor Ivan Vasin, project curator Hristofor Konstantinidi as well as project ambassadors including TV host Irina Pudova and boxing world champion Konstantin Tszyu participated in the event.

The exhibition features a new tourist route passing through the territories where the Bosporan Kingdom emerged in 480 BC. The travelers can mix business with pleasure enjoying beach holidays and entertaining excursions.

The Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom comprises twelve cities and more than thirty locations, situated in Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, and the Rostov region. The route encompasses museums, excavations of ancient cities, show parks, and traveler attractions, related to the history of the ancient nation. The initiative presents over 200 sightseeing attractions including Chersonesus (Sevastopol), Panticapaeum (Kerch) as well as ancient cities on the Taman Peninsula such as Gorgippia and Phanagoria.

Domodedovo passengers can fly to a range of Bosporan Kingdom cities including Gorgippia (Anapa), Torikos (Gelendzhik), Ampsalida (Sochi), Scythian Neapolis (Simferopol) and Tanais (Rostov-on-Don).

The exhibit is displayed at Moscow Domodedovo Airport on the first floor of the public area. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge.
