DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT AND ‘AZAL’ HAVE CELEBRATED THE 21st ANNIVERSARY OF COOPERATION
21 years ago, ‘Azerbaijan Airlines’ began operating flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Azal is the national carrier of Azerbaijan and one of the leading airlines in the CIS.
“We have close partnership relations with ‘Azerbaijan Airlines’ and share a proud history of development of air traffic between the two countries,” underscores Irina Ryabinina, Managing Director of Domodedovo Commercial Services LLC. “Today, ‘Azal’ operates flights from us to Baku. The route to the Azerbaijani capital is among the most attractive ones in the CIS space. Passenger traffic between the two capitals is steadily growing: based on the results of 9 months 2024, it showed a hike of 11% YoY.”
‘Azal’ operates flights from Domodedovo Airport to Baku twice a day. Departures are at 12:35 and 00:45. The flying time is approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes.
