15 years of Air Arabia Flights from Domodedovo
Air Arabia and Domodedovo International Airport have celebrated 15 years since the start of flights. During this time, the airline has carried more than 2.3 million passengers and carried out more than 16,000 flights.
The airline operates flights to Sharjah (UAE) daily at 22:35 on Saturdays and Sundays, and at 22:50 on other days of the week. Starting from December 14, Air Arabia plans to introduce a second daily frequency. Flights are operated on comfortable Airbus A320neo aircraft, which have 174 seats in a single‑class configuration.
To celebrate the anniversary of the airline, Domodedovo has prepared sweet gifts with the airline’s logo for passengers. In honor of the occasion, prizes from Air Arabia will be raffled off on the airport’s social media channels.
The Emirate of Sharjah is known for its sandy beaches and modern hotel infrastructure. Citizens of the Russian Federation are subjects to a visa‑free regime: entry and transit through the territory of the UAE are possible for up to 90 days within each 180‑day period.
Air Arabia flights provide passengers with convenient connections to the following destinations: the Maldives, Colombo, Phuket, Bangkok, Jeddah, Medina, Dhaka, Goa, Kathmandu, and Nairobi.
Air Arabia is among the top three largest air carriers at Domodedovo Airport in terms of traffic volume among airlines in the CIS and beyond. Air Arabia’s route network from its base airport in Sharjah includes 206 destinations.
