PASSENGERS VOTED FOR BEST VERSION OF DME’S NEWS WEBSITE
Domodedovo Airport has conducted an online voting amongst its passengers to choose the best version of new design for the web-site and its mobile version. Passengers using current web-site were offered to evaluate two design versions from the short-list of our subcontractor MAKE Ltd. One version was a structured one and the other had quitter and stricter tone. There was also an option to say that both versions were not welcome. Around 500 people took part in the voting. Around half of voters chose quitter design, 22% - both versions, and only 7% said that they don’t like any of the options. Currently, passengers can purchase additional services of the airport such as business lounges’ entries, porters’ services, as well as services as fast-track before the flight. The web-site upgrade project is aimed at increasing the comfort level of using digital services and improving passengers’ experiences on all stages. Best practices from the leading airports are taken as a benchmark for the new design. Special attention is given to the speed, simplicity and accessibility of key information and services when using the website from the mobile phone.
