Domodedovo congratulates Izhavia on anniversary and extends gratitude for decades of reliable cooperation
Domodedovo International Airport congratulates ‘Izhavia’ on the 81st anniversary of its foundation, a significant date in the history of one of the country's oldest air carriers.
The partnership between Domodedovo and ‘Izhavia’ has been going on for almost three decades. As part of the cooperation, the airline operates up to three daily flights on the ‘Moscow—Izhevsk’ route using Boeing 737 family aircraft, thus providing stable and comfortable transportation between the capitals of the regions.
‘Izhavia’s route network covers key destinations from Izhevsk to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg and Irkutsk. The geography of flights is consistently expanding, which contributes to strengthening transport connectivity and creating additional opportunities for regionally resident passengers.
For more than eight decades, ‘Izhavia’ has established itself as a reliable and professional carrier focused on high standards of safety, quality and sustainable development. What makes this date particularly valuable is the fact that 2025 is marked by another milestone — the 30th anniversary of the carrier’s partnership with Domodedovo. This cooperation remains an example of mutual trust, strategic agreement and common commitment to development of domestic aviation in Russia.
